My research is in feminist philosophy of science with a particular interest in philosophy of modeling. I am interested in fictions in scientific models, explanations for the use of the sex binary, and science communication.
I particular, I argue that ‘what the science says’ is often confused with ‘what the science assumes’ in certain contexts which may perpetuate the problematic use of a binary conception of biology sex.
